The existing site provided various challenges including coastal erosion engineering, environmental impact mitigation design, and a greater than typical amount of approval and oversight from a multitude of state and local agencies.
A front facade inspired by the ocean waves shares its curves with the crest of an ocean wave. While the rear of the residence allows for unobstructed views of the Fire Island INlet.
